Well, Mike Lowell is pretty much gone (not that we didn't see that coming; he'd fill as a DH but we HAVE a DH and with his bad hip, well...) and the Mets are putting an offer on the table for Jason Bay, so basically baseball has made me very sad lately.

Monday evening I headed out to Worcester with some lovlies to see the WXLO holiday show. Three of my favorite performers/bands were there so it was well worth the trip. I'd never heard Kris Allen before, but he was pretty good too. Nonsense and tomfoolery ensued, in, you know... the good way.

Coakley won the democratic primary and I don't know which I'm more pissed off about, that my candidate (that I worked very, very hard for) bit it, or that she was the one who defeated him. I can't imagine that she's going to have a very good first term but... at least she's not Scott Brown? Who hates gay people but loves charter schools?

The Biggest Loser finale! I love this program so much; it's so inspiring. I'm very, very pleased with the outcome. Take it to the comments if you'd like to discuss.

I'll have music to share soonish and hopefully by the end of the week I'll have finished this SVU piece I've been "working" on.

Also, Lori's sick with the flu and ACS fucked up my account (and believe THAT; it wasn't me this time) and I ended up owing them $300.00. Bye, bye what little I had in my savings! :::shakes fist:::

♥ saw cute apt. on delancy w/ mel; girl who's renting just moved from Cambridge. we chatted about the Beehive, lolololol.
♥ comfy futon, awesome coffee, seeing my dear Aiah and being back in the BK was really, really nice.
♥ mel being super confident and finding an apartment she loves and getting a couple of really great job interviews

CAPUANO FOR SENATE. (December 8, you really can't come fast enough! See: for one, the signs I have hanging in my front window.) Coakley is tripping all over herself lately and this is good I just need January to roll around so that I can breathe.
